Travel Dates

Forget the Campground fees. Embrace the Adventure.

We believe that real adventure happens off the beaten path, far from the crowded campgrounds and typical tourist spots. While others call it “car camping,” we call it overlanding: a way of self-reliant, long-distance travel that takes you from one incredible destination to another, often on rugged, unpaved roads.

But here’s the thing: overlanding isn’t just about epic, long journeys. Whether you’re setting out for a weekend escape or planning a full 10-day expedition, it’s about embracing the freedom of exploration.

So, why Vancouver Island?

Vancouver Island offers some of the most awe inspiring backcountry in the world, from majestic waterfalls and towering old growth forests to pristine, secluded beaches.

We’re not just offering rentals we’re overlanding enthusiasts ourselves. We take pride in our own adventures and trust the same capable, reliable vehicles we offer you. We understand that the heart of a great adventure lies in the gear that gets you there, which is why every vehicle we provide is meticulously maintained and ready to handle the rugged, off the grid terrain that Vancouver Island has to offer.

Our mission is to give you the same freedom and confidence we feel when we hit the road, sharing our love for overlanding with you through our vehicles and the stunning landscapes of Vancouver Island. It’s more than a service it’s a passion we’re eager to share.

Ready to venture out and explore Vancouver Island in a way that most people only dream of? Let’s make it happen.

Your Access to Vancouver Island

  • Booking is simple and can be done online or over the phone. You'll need to select your pick-up and drop-off dates and time, choose your 4X4 Vehicle model, and decide on any additional equipment or services, like kayaks, paddle boards, power stations. Drivers must be 25+ with a valid license; international licenses accepted and a credit card for the security deposit. We recommend booking well in advance, especially for peak travel seasons, to ensure the availability of your preferred 4X4 vehicle.

  • Head on over to our Guided Convoy page to see upcoming trips and available dates to book. After purchasing the product you will be emailed documents outlining the trip and additional info.

  • Familiarize yourself with the vehicles features and how to use them before you hit the road. Plan your route in advance, including campgrounds or parking spots where overnight stays are allowed. Pack light but don’t forget essentials like food, clothing, and personal items. Storage space is limited, so be strategic about what you bring. Always have a road map or GPS device handy (unless supplied), even if you plan to wander without a strict itinerary. Lastly, respect nature and the communities you visit by following Leave No Trace principles and local regulations.
